133 - fanart

some of my favourite, recent character designs come from dreamworks animation films. here's a doodle of astrid from how to train your dragon while i sit here geeking out over the designs in the upcoming rise of the guardians.

132 - character headshots

over on tumblr there was this thing going around where someone gives you a series and you draw your favourite character from it. i did a bunch of headshots and they were a lot of fun. (the first looks different from the others cause after i finished it i decided to switch to a different brush)

131 - nerd fanart

i finally got around to watch game of thrones (i wanted to be ready for the second season starting next month) and though i am trying to not get too attached to everyone because i am assuming every single character in this series will end up dead, renly baratheon is my favourite. i am really looking forward to seeing more of him and his new awesome armour and antler crown in season 2. 


i also need to work in limited colour palettes more often because it is a lot of fun.

130 - little genim red hood

i really like to draw trees and forest scenes and i really like taking old fairy tales/mythologies that involve wolves and making them werewolf-related, so here is little genim red hood and the big bad alpha wolf. and then the background just on its own because i liked it.

129 - typography

my friend and i jokingly compared one of the characters from teen wolf to the titular character from zoolander and she came up with this gem. i loved it so much that i had to do something with it, and now this is available as a t-shirt on redbubble. i'd also like to do a version that works on lighter colours.

128 - doodles and sketches

another collection of photoshop doodles and sketches from my moleskin. i have recently found myself enthralled with the television series teen wolf, so a lot of these are thanks to that. i can't help it, i just love werewolves.
